At Harrison Bros., we have been "talking tape" since 1986.

That was the year our company was started, and the whole idea came from a roll of red duct tape. Working as a special events producer at Duke University, I had seen a roll of red duct tape in use by one of the traveling Broadway shows playing at Duke. I never realized that duct tape came in any color other than silver, and I set out to buy some red. It should have been easy, but it wasn't. Far from it!

That's where the idea for a business selling "hard to find" production products started.

We'll, our fledgling company found a source for red duct tape, and over a thousand products later, we are proud to welcome you to the new TheTapeWorks.com web site.
